I can't do links but
News coming from America of a double murder on a train. Apparently two people have been murdered on a train, for defending a muslim. The muslim was ordered off the train and the two samaritans had their throats cut.
Tweet from Tommy Robinson "The religion of peace again" He's not just a nasty racist, he's stupid too.

That's the whole point though, isn't it...

He would have power if people agreed with him. The reason people in power don't say what he says is because they have been elected. If what he is saying resonated with the majority then people would get elected on that platform. They don't.

I'd say it resonates with a lot of people...its just him who had the balls to stand up and say frankly what needed to be said for a long time...to me the fact that it just happens to be him saying it is irrelevant.

I really dont think on the whole it does 'resonate with a lot of people'

If there was a poll done on this forum for example if people who 'have a positive opinion of him', 'have no opinion of him' and 'have a negative opinion of him', I am confident that the answer will be the latter for a majority of 70%

Shall we see?

I'm not fussed about him and frankly don't care what people on this board think about him...good or bad.
Try running a poll on what he actually said....forget who's saying it...just the subject matter in hand and see how the poll goes.

You said he 'resonates' with a lot of people.

So I'm just seeing what percentage of people on here 'have a positive view on him and his speeches'.

A democratic vote if you will.

He resonates with some because he plays to their bigotry.

Those of you who are positive about this man: explain to us the single most important thing he says we should think ord do- what is the key takeaway policy he suggests and you agree with?

Id say what hes standing there saying does resonate with a lot of people...you can have your little vote on the man himself by all means.

I repeat, that is the point. We regularly have votes where people have the opportunity to support people who say stuff that resonates with them. The net result of all of these democratic efforts is that there are few people in power saying the stuff Tommy Robinson says.

Go figure.

You said you have a Muslim friend Rommers. Is he particularly religious? Surely there must be dozens born into the Islamic community who don`t "give a stuff" so to speak. Rather like a majority of people born into Christianity these days.
On a more important note, have you any thoughts on the Oaks/Derby yet.

The stabbings had nothing to do with colour, religion or terror though?

They were gang related attacks.

so what then?

I didnt say there were?

His family wish him to be religious but he isn't.

The only one he follows is not eating pork.

If asked, he's a Muslim. But not really.

Derby I'm on Cliffs Of Moher at 10/1 antepost and Glencadem glory (my st Leger fancy) at 40s. The oaks I'm going to and like Coronet at 8/1. I will be doing a preview for both days. There's two horses running in the handicaps Friday that I will be placing a decent bet on. One of them, in the investec mile is currently 6/1 but I'm awaiting the other bookies giving a price. Shutter Speed was my antepost oaks bet but she is going to France instead. Not a lot on though. Will play Coronet for about £15 at 8/1 to £135 which would be nice. I expect the two handicap horses to be my main bets Friday though.

Really looking forward to it. I went last year to the oaks and it was great.

I'm just trying to understand your logic of thinking.

I say that Romford is fairly diverse and his hatred being spread in Romford would receive a negative response, and you then mention a stabbing which is completely unrelated to terror.

This poll will be meaningless to them. They're similar to conspiracy theorists in that they are the awake ones and everyone else is asleep or afraid. Instead of sheeple we're 'libtards'. No amount of logic, contradictory evidence or opposing opinion will sway those who don't want to be swayed from their prejudice. Crunchie even said it doesn't matter about your poll and everyone else's opinion. He has already decided that your typical EDL member is more informed.

The link between level of intelligence and the views you hold is clear for all to see in this thread. I know none of them will report that as abuse or go running to admin because they are so in favour of free speech and aren't snowflakes...

The stabbing that led to a death of an Egyptian lad who had lived in Italy until two years ago came from a gang of English born lads.

Any views on that Mr Taximan?

Taximan and Benters don't have views.

They are scared little boys that can only express childish emotions like hate.
