Transfer Mathematics on 09:17 - Aug 8 with 1139 views | MeenoITFC | I like the idea but we still have to pay the players and fees on top not all money made from signings is available to spend. But I agree, tilt and windass would be great additions.

Transfer Mathematics on 09:19 - Aug 8 with 1107 views | Herbivore | You need to knock off a million for Pompey and Rangers getting their sell on. Our outgoings also need to budget for add ons that we'll be paying rather than just the up front fee. I suspect we'll only sign another player if Garner also goes.

Transfer Mathematics on 09:19 - Aug 8 with 1103 views | Mullet | Portsmouth took a chunk of Webster so that'll be less. We also don't know how much is up front in and out. Wages off the bill such as McGoldrick and Waghorn vs. what's coming in means we spread money further too. I'd be surprised if we don't sell Garner and use his wages too for Windass.

Transfer Mathematics on 09:23 - Aug 8 with 1055 views | MancBlue86 | True, Completely forgot about the sell ons to be honest, my bad. As for wages, Im pretty sure they are covered from departing players. I wouldnt be surprised if our wage bill is still lower even with Nsiala/Nolan/Jackson

I'm sure Hurst isn't earning the reported £1m MM was either So Dids (reported £12-15k / week) and Waggy (probably £10k/week) represents a £1.3m annual saving plus say £500k from MM and TC leaving I'm sure these new lads are being paid decent money but for instance you might get a Nolan and Nsiala plus a bit of Doncien for the weekly price of a David McGoldrick

Transfer Mathematics on 09:31 - Aug 8 with 1005 views | Tractorboy24 | I’d hope that any money which is raised by selling the academy boys (Knight & Flores) goes straight back into the academy.
Transfer Mathematics on 09:38 - Aug 8 with 950 views | BlueyandCrazy | Also need to take account of loan fees; Edun and Chalobah fees likely to be close to a £1m in aggregate. As others have stated, I'm sure the Knight £1m will go back into the academy. On balance then just enough for Tilt / a Centre Half plus Windass can be brought in if Garner goes.

I doubt that. The academy will have its funding set in place regardless. Its part of running a club. No money would have been expected from selling an academy player.
