The person I am speaking about wasn't on the field at that point, he came out only when the families came on after that. If it wasn't him it was someone like him. This person didn't stray too far from the corner of Sir Alf and Britannia stands. [Post edited 4 May 22:22]

Looking at the timeline, Williams got himself into a spot of bother just a few days before he joined us on loan; you'd think that would have played a part in him joining us, and McKenna having history with him hoping to get him back on the right track.
Williams will have seen what happened at Portman Road yesterday, and if he doesn't regret not being a part of all of that, then he's going to struggle to have a football career that matches his talent. |  |

That piece was written by Jonathan Liew, who doesn't usually cover the Championship. It was a very well written flavour piece, but including Williams and missing out Sarmiento in that list revealed his reliance on research rather than in-depth knowledge of us as a club. | | | |

I think it's quite obvious now why he just disappeared from the team given the current court proceedings. Don't forget our majority owners are ORG a company that manages the pension fund for police officers in Arizona. It's hardly a good look for ORG to use police officers' money to sponsor a team that have players who have ongoing legal issues. Norwood was also dropped from our first team around the same time of his court proceedings, too.

Williams's contract is up in the summer & while United have an option of another year, will they exercise it in the hope of getting a fee for a player who is clearly damaged goods? If they don't, then Williams needs to have a good look at himself & consider if he really wants a professional football career. Might be worth a punt on a free. |  |
