Don't think it was ever on the cards that he'd stay imo. Especially after his final month of playing. Was unplayable.
He'll end up the next Bellingham.
I'm not sure if you're being sarcastic or not but Bellingham and him are the same age.
I highly doubt he's the next Bellingham.
As much as he was good for us, I doubt he'll even get in Chelseas squad next season. I guess he'll be judged in pre season and they'll go from there. It might be too late for us though.

Have to disagree .
His comments suggest, to me, that if he doesn't figure in Chelsea's plans for next season he will be back at Portman Road.
Lets see if he makes the Chelsea bench at the weekend.
It doesn't mean anything really apart from a young man, who we have all watched mature into a wonderful football player, saying goodbye to the people who supported him during this chapter. He had been recalled by Chelsea, his loan was over. It was a very mature and grounded post imo.
Who knows what happens next, but he returns to Chelsea with amazing memories.
I just reviewed the highlights around his debut goal at Southampton. How he robs the defender with a monster tackle before smacking it home. He had it form the start.
