I think the reservation list for Rommy's is rather long now anyway, word has really gotten out about it. I think a combination of gastronomical flair, and the host's witty repartee has really put it out of the reach of the more casual diner. You have to book months in advance now, which is just ridiculous. I hear it's overrated anyway, talking to my contacts in the industry. Talk of a Michelin Star is just that, all talk.

As mentioned above, downstairs is a bar/club, but the restaurant upstairs is smart and contemporary.
Whilst there are hundreds, if not thousands, of such restaurants in London, in Ipswich it is well positioned as a smart, young-ish contemporary fusion restaurant. | | | |
