| News Comment | Everton Eyeing Mings at 10:39:13
have to say, love mingsy but not a player (for a good fee) i'd be worried about losing, Parr can play left, hewitt or chambo right. if we lost the likes of didz, murphs, bishop, williams (call back) i'd be more worried |
| News Comment | Villa Linked With New Move for Cresswell at 23:54:42
i'm not that involved in scouting up and coming players but surely to find someone on his wage, age, and quality even for 6mil is gonna be a challenge for us if he leaves |

the only way he has been a poor leader is his driving antics, a leader at ipswich must also be able to make the club look good off the field. I feel he brings an uplift to the team whether it's by performance or by being 34 he knows what to say and when to say it? |
| News Comment | McCarthy Looking for Final Push at Wednesday at 12:52:47
Have we become the championships version of the Dallas cowboys? I swear ever manager for the last 4 or so years has been saying that we're at the wrong end odd the table. Well hopefully we'll break the mould next season |
| News Comment | Jewell: Davies Fee Too Much at 19:21:34
@jas I hold the same view, when a team loses a friendly it have to be taken without any mind towards team gelling, different tactics etc both Man city and chelsea haven't lost to teams they shouldn't have...... oh they have my bad if we sign to many players we will struggle due to team bonding so 1 or 2 good ones will do me fine |
| News Comment | Villa's Cresswell Move at Early Stage at 11:28:58
he is not worth more than 4/5 mil, Alba one of the best LB in the game was 11 mil, with that you have major trophy, international experience, playing champions league etc we are selling a guy who performed in the crossing a free kick area in the championship and is young. I like cressers as a project and prospect but if someone said 4/5 mil up front i'd have to start looking for a replacement |
| News Comment | Chambers Signs for Town at 16:42:39
on the keeper front could we not prise Bunn away from Tottenham? not sure if that is the right team, he was utter class for the cobblers when i watched them while i was at school then got a big move to spurs (i think) and is now 3rd/4th/5th choice |
| News Comment | Jewell: Close Season Always Frustrating at 12:48:32
@tr11blu- so true we definitely don't have a younger squad in which net transfers have equalled a profit, we didn't score 19 goals more than in keanes last full season thus satisfying supporters call for more attacking football. utter drivel you clearly have no idea or care about the topic at hand so don't get involved in it |
| News Comment | Town and Celtic Set for Murphy Talks at 20:58:27
if the wage is low, price is low great signing but doesn't really solve any of our problems, need a GK sooner rather than later imo and go all out to get a sound CB. Would love an owen deal :P |
| News Comment | Town Renew Klug Interest at 21:24:26
@ Mark and cookie, Edwards is toss, and to think if we had not made him captain probs would have been promoted lol he had been class this year and has had good spells in the past @bluey, ok so PJ who is the only manager since ME has been here to make a profit in a year, buy three very good young prospects (JET, cressy, and hewitt) had avoided us from relegation (1st season) and managed to start to form a recovery in good football played! what stuff have you been smoking?? |
| News Comment | Happy Birthday for Macc Lad? at 10:26:20
@DanLyles- like the idea of a NZ pair as last time i checked they were unbeaten in the WC |
| News Comment | Clegg: Academy is a Jewell Priority at 18:37:06
jas lets not bring attacking football into it as we have scored more this season than any other since 06ish, a good five or six years ago!! |
| News Comment | Jewell: Plenty of Clubs Looking to Push On Next Year at 13:28:28
i feel that we need a #3 striker, midfield I'm happy with maybe 1 more vet as we have hyam, drury, carson, martin, and jet who are on the young/ inexperience side. in D's i'd say 2 CB's, a GK 1st choice, and a youth or sub 21 who can come through. All easy to say much harder to do!! a lot of you act like the red neck Americans things have to be done today and results tomorrow give him a break |
| News Comment | Jewell Wants Permanent Number One at 12:01:36
@Garv, not saying worst but leakiest, every game i have seen he allows them to get the cross in, still think our CB are worse defenders and probably add to the problem but i feel he is not at the Edwards level yet |
