Been really impressed with him when I’ve watched him for Coventry this season and against us recently. One of those players that looks like they have the ability to step up to the next level. |

I wouldn’t hold your breath. I’ll comeback to you during the middle of next season to see how you feel about it. |

Not looking forward to this being involved in our games next season. I’ve enjoyed watching our games without this nonsense interfering. I wouldn’t mind so much if VAR ultimately got decisions right. I wonder how many EPL managers would prefer to go back to not having VAR involved, leave it 100% to the referee without any external involvement? VAR should improve our game for the better, for me it’s making it worse and still getting decisions wrong. [Post edited 5 May 9:21]

My feelings too. Similar to poor refereeing decisions, like we are the only team that has them go against us. Yes, yesterday was a day of celebration for us, but I thought Sky Sports got it spot on. |

Plenty of negativity about their commentary this season regarding ourselves many thinking they have favoured other sides with their narrative during match commentary, but I thought Don Goodman was hugely complimentary throughout today’s match and was really singing our praises. In fact, I thought their coverage overall today was spot on and really got across how huge this result was for the club and all concerned - players, staff and fans. Really felt they gave a true flavour for those that were unable to attend. [Post edited 4 May 22:47]

Lots of sentiment on this thread about Jackson, for all he brings he’s been found wanting at times in the Championship, in the EPL he’s going to be up against even better and quicker thinking players. I’d be surprised if we keep him, I doubt if KM and MA will make a call on sentiment alone. |

Credit to him, but it probably helps that he is on a very decent wage with us and unlikely to get that elsewhere. |

Consider the state of that Town side. You are asking a 19 year old kid in his first loan in men's football to stop the Titanic from sinking? Have a bit of perspective. How do you think he would do in our current midfield alongside, Morsy? He'd be terrific, especially with his willingness to get forward and make a pass. Let's not forget that team went down with a whimper, he didn't get too much help during that campaign. [Post edited 3 May 13:51]

If you have anything about you, you could appreciate even then that he was a decent player, even in a poor Town side. The fact it was his first loan spell in men's football and he was our best player tells you a lot about him. I'm pleased he's gone on and done so well with his Chelsea career. There's no grey area with some on here, once they've made their mind up, that's it. Embarrassing really, give the lad some credit. |

There was no doubt that was a terrific stop in the first half, sprung like gymnast doing a floor routine across his goal, however I think he'll be disappointed with their goal. |

Is this not a similar scenario to when we were last in the EPL and we redeveloped the Bobby Robson and Sir Alf stands? I'm always a glass half empty type of guy, it is going to require a lot of investment simply to stay in that league as clubs have shown recently, overstretching ourselves financially is a big concern I have. This idea of the EPL being the promised land couldn't be further from the truth and that's the sad reality the club will need to weigh up. What will be our aim? |

That’s true, but they are a different beast at home and look how Southampton have been over the last couple of games. We need to be in front of Leeds heading into that last game. |
