That was absolutely painful to listen to. Edwards mumbling into the mic and offering absolutely nothing in terms of tactical, player or match comprehension.
At one point he talked about Caribbean players often not working hard enough to succeed despite the fact that he seemed to have stumbled into the commentary position straight from the pub without having done the most basic of research or practice for the role. I used to get better insight from the slightly confused drunk old geezer sat in front of me in SBR.
I get that town don't want Radio Suffolk so they can control the narrative and not broadcast criticism of the club if things go wrong. I'm not expecting Gary Neville and it's amazing to be able to watch the town from abroad but for 200 quid a year that needs to be a lot better.
I just assumed the audio-only feed would different, cannot imagine listening to that without picture.
If you're coming for skiing and the outdoors you can't get better than the BC mountains. I moved here 20 years ago and because of the quality of life in BC could never see myself going home. Thanks to the magic of IFollow you can even get up at 7AM every Saturday to catch every minute of every disappointing home loss to the likes of Lincoln and Rochdale.
I live in Whistler and am in Vancouver regularly, if you need any more info or help from this end drop me a message.
There was a "rewind 30 seconds" button that worked well for seeing the goal/other incidents again. Would have liked the radio Suffolk commentary but can live without it. All in all I'm living in canada and get to watch town games, I'll be satisfied with this for the rest of the season. My stream froze on the half time logo and I had to refresh the site so missed the start of the 2nd half but better than expected all round, thanks to everyone that made this work
Bought iFollow and can't wait for the season to start. I've been living abroad for almost 20 years and despite the fact that we get the vast majority of premier league games live nothing compares to actually watching the town and genuinely caring about the result of the game I'm watching. I'll now be getting up at 6AM and forsaking the Manchester & London derbies for disappointing away performances against the likes of Burton Albion filmed on one camera with out of sync commentary and I couldn't be happier, I get why people are unhappy with ITFC right now but as someone who only makes it back home for a handful of games every few years just the opportunity to watch the town means a ton and the club is still a huge part of my identity.
Thinking about signing up for this in Canada. Does anyone know what sort of live game feed we'll be getting? Is it really likely to only be one camera? Do we get replays of goals etc on the live match feed or have they effectively just given some old bloke in the Cobbold Stand a discount on his season ticket to vaguely point a camera at the action?
The program I believe is run by Neulion, I was buying a prmeier league package off them last year and never had any issues with buffering or stream quality.
