Exactly that.
I donât get it atall. Why comment on something just for the sake of saying something negative.
It boils my piss when I see it still going on in 2024. Iâve got a little girl who loves the experience of going to Portman Road, seeing bluey and all the rest of it. I donât take her to many away grounds as I donât want her exposed to some of the stuff you see like fighting at Wednesday earlier in the season. Racism you still see going on like the Palmer incident and sexism still!!
I always think my clubs abit different and a âfamily clubâ but then you see our own âfansâ doing it and you just despair. |

Some of the comments under Ashtonâs video about tickets for the womenâs game are an utter disgrace and I was embarrassed to see âIpswich fansâ being so sexist and misogynistic.
I didnât think our club had this side to it vs many other clubs but clearly I was wrong,
Iâm always trying to defend our club to my wife but how can I defend whatâs wrote in black and white.
If you live in the 70âs then just donât comment. You donât like womenâs sport, just donât comment. You donât think womenâs sport is of a standard that satisfies you, keep those thoughts in your head and donât comment. If youâre a misogynist, donât bother commenting.
It sickens me to see comments like this anyway, let alone when it comes out of our clubs âfansâ.
Ashton mustâve been absolutely sickened and embarrassed to see comments that followed his video and it ruins all the good work heâs been trying to do with the womenâs teams. Weâve sold over 8,500 tickets so there is an interest in it clearly which is almost as much as we got under the last part of Micks tenure. |

Harry Pell is the biggest s%#^house Iâve seen against us live for years when we went to Accrington and lost after Bonne gave us the lead.
He spent the whole game trying to wind up our players and got away with murder then scored to make it worse!
Iâm glad we have a ref thatâs pulled him up on it today. |

After watching Ross turn into Prime Ronaldinho in this match against City, I think this might actually have legs in it as a possible idea if we go up and Luton go down. |

I agree with many points.
The poor guy in the wheel chair waiting whilst nobody was there with the tickets was so poor.
Somebody then mustâve been in the away ticket turnstile bit from Ipswich whilst I was queuing to go through the turnstile and the Sheff Wed steward was so rude to whoever was in there. He just kept being abrupt saying you are meant to sort out the tickets itâs down to you. No youâre the home steward, weâve come to your ground so can you just help!!
Iâve never been to an away ground that doesnât have something up to tell you what is actually for sale before and thatâs having been to Accrington, Morecambe, Fleetwood, Burton etc that are all tiny in comparison to Wednesday.
You then try to look over to see whatâs there and itâs literally just Carling! Show some sort of imagination as to what you offer. Couldnât see any chocolate. Couldnât see what hot food they had. Terrible experience for away fans.
All this make you realise how lucky we now are to have a club that actually cares about the fans. Makes it a better experience. Offers something in regards choice for food and drink. Makes it a family atmosphere. Iâd never ever take my 5 year old girl to Hillsborough but she loves the Fanzone and match day experience at Portman Road.
Like youâve pointed out we were charged a ridiculous fee aswell for a ticket which equates to the same price for my adult ticket that Iâll hopefully be paying for me and my 15 year old lad to go to Huddersfield.
Youâll get people that say âyou have a choice and you donât have to pay itâ. I want to follow Ipswich so I want to try and go if I can, I just donât want to be ripped off for the privilege.
Thank god for Ashton and Gamechanger as this was us in the last few decades. |

Literally couldnât care less about what opposition fans think about how loud we were, itâs obviously tinged with bitterness due to losing.
All I care about is three points which we have. No points given for how loud our opposition believed us to be. |

Thatâs literally one of the most ridiculous threads Iâve ever read. Youâd have thought we lost if you went purely by reading the thread.
Basically all trying to convince themselves we arenât a threat.
Yes we werenât amazing but we were effective when we got into dangerous positions. What they need to think is yes we werenât amazing but we still won. |

Carr really impressed me tonight.
Quite good positionally. Really strong in the tackle and passed it simple to get out of danger.
Definitely a player there and a great find.
Hladky on the other hand is a disaster waiting to happen! Slickers obviously come in with a view to taking over as number 2. |

The piece of play in the first half near the right touchline was unbelievable. Literally danced round x3 Burnley players and beat some of them twice! He turned into prime Messi! |

I live Leeds way and Iâm travelling down and staying in Oxford anyway that weekend but didnât manage to get x2 tickets as it never made it to Silver Membership!
Couldâve easily picked it up on the way! |

We were already staying over in Oxford that weekend and i was going to tie in watching the match and taking the youngest lad.
I'd seen how quickly we're selling out though so feared the worst as we hold Silver Memberships. |

What do you think the chances are of any more tickets being released to us re Wycombe?

The airport is on Walney Island just next to Barrow. A small airport with a tiny runway. You wouldnât get a big plane landing there!
We have connections up in Barrow so go 2-3 times a year. A long old trip through by road! |
