| News Comment | Chopra: I Don't Have to Leave at 18:15:56
Why can't under performers get fired? If I performed as half assed in my job as Chopra does, I would have been shown the door a long time ago. He now gets to sit on the bench for 18K a week and do bugger all. How is that right? They harp on about Financial Fair Play Regulations and yet money is wasted on a striker who can't score. Sounds like the dammed government. That 18K a week could be used to pick up some hungry up and comer who knows where the goal is. |

Fact is there is no need for any negativity at this point. If we had been relegated that would be one thing. Mick did the impossible... I'm really excited for next season. Finally feels we have something to look forward to. |
| News Comment | Skuse Deal Done Claims as Doyle Linked at 05:56:37
Wow, it didn't take long for the negativity to kick in. The season has only been over for a day. Look at what Mick has accomplished in the last five months. We're in good hands. I trust his judgement. If Skuse has indeed signed, then welcome aboard. |
| News Comment | McCarthy Will Make Changes at Burnley at 17:25:50
Let me start by saying I'm damn proud of the team. Against insurmountable odds, they fought their way book tooth and claw to be safe. The odds were certainly against them. I am really excited for next season. More excited than I have been for a long, long time. I feel bad for Wolves fans but to be honest, it's refreshing to hear them bemoaning losing MM and TC. I think we are finally in good hands. So, my team for Saturday would be. Loach Hewitt, Chambers, Smith, Cresswell Edwards, Hyam, N'Daw, Wordsworth JET, Nouble Subs Lee-barrett Marriott Mings Murphy I'm really hoping Chopra is gone this summer. The club has been more than patient with him and he is just toxic. His only job is to score and he can't do it. He can however, gamble and party. He's no good to the team. It's a shame as I was so excited when he signed. Really glad to see Loach stepping up and getting back in the mix. COYB |
| News Comment | McCarthy: I Didn't Enjoy That at 17:34:05
It really makes a nice change to log on here and see comment after comment of positive words and praise. Mick and Terry have done wonders this season and it's hard to not have a twinge of excitement going into next season. Things really do feel different at last.... Onward and most definitely upward! |
| News Comment | Murph: I Want to Stay at 16:50:03
See, this is the exact kind of player we want playing for Town. It's not about the money, it's about the love of the game and more importantly, the love of the team. Far too many players are more than happy to be overpaid bench warmers. It's really refreshing to read something to the contrary. |
| News Comment | Two Redundancies at Town at 16:59:40
They are hiring for a new IT manager but you need to be mid thirties, Irish and shaggy haired. :-) Apparently this is a slow news day. |
| News Comment | O\'Connor Signs Deal at 16:46:33
Good news. I'm glad to hear it. Definitely a high point from last season. |
| News Comment | Town Make Eight Available for Transfer at 18:49:22
I see so many complaints about beefing up the squad, but take a look at the core squad we have right now. Murphy, MaCauley, Delaney, Smith, Leadbitter, Civelli, Norris, O'Connor, Walters, Wickham, Priskin I personally don't think that is a bad line up at all. If we add Chopra to that list, I think we'll be doing fine. Our back end did well last season as made evident by the number of draws. Our offense struggled as made evident by the number of draws. If we get Wickham and Walters out there more and add Priskin or Chopra to the fold, I think we'll do well this season. |
