We have a proud history of being ace when we get promoted (1961/62 went quite well, last team to lose a game in the inaugural premier league, and 5th in 2000/2001). OK it's harder now but, we'll bring in some quality players that fit our system and finish 13th. [Post edited 11 May 18:59]

When Dan Poulter defected I wrote on here "It lacks any credibility after all the negative statements he would have made about Labour over the years." so you can times that by 10 for Nathalie Elphicke.
Really don't understand how you can just change party without losing all credibility. |

I think most of the crowd in the town would have gone through the Soane Street gates, hence the aerial pictures showing the park being more densely populated on the south side of the bus path inside the park, than the north.
Probably a few hundred followed the bus or were gathered at the Westerfield Rd gate, and they were directed to the north side of the path when they followed it in [Post edited 7 May 14:11]

For people parking stupidly e.g. blocking people's drives, obstructing paths, causing problems for disabled pedestrians I have no sympathy, but for those just parking on a single yellow on a day like yesterday, it seems rather a cynical move from the council. Seems to have brought out the authoritarians on this thread though! |

If they're going to get rid, then get rid. If they want to keep him and are waiting on his decision, line someone in private. I can't see how his position is tenable now. |
