Portsmouth Boss Tight-Lipped on Edmundson Link
at 11:20:16

Recall Ndaba maybe to allow Edmundson to leave ?
FFP wise may well free something up and Ndaba offers cover at LB
Whilst the ideal would be to keep Ndaba at Kilmarnock and playing each week, this offers a solution to more than one possible conundrum

Good to have him, the right decision. Believe that Flynn is only a couple of weeks away from returning along with Norwood and Edwards

Young Quintet Left Out of Photo Call
at 11:13:43

FA guidance is groups of no more than 30 which includes coaches.
Can 6 what appears to be 6 coaches in the photo, plus 24 players mentioned = 30.
That's the only reason I can see other than bad man management

I think Morris hasn't been given the opportunities in the past but Morris over Folami against a strong, physical Derby side, I do believe a mistake

I'm assuming that no one has even considered that with very little mileage between Huddersfield and Bury that the lad wanted to stay up north and closer to home/family etc?

Sheffield Wednesday Game All-Ticket

Nazemariner & Seasider, think you'll find it likely that the police have asked for no further allocation to be given. Last home game of the season and so many Owls fans would just be a mix they wouldn't want the hassle of dealing with

Town Linked With Southampton Winger Isgrove

24 years old, out of contract in the summer and cannot break into the first team. Likely to be released therefore and worth a try before you 'buy' deal albeit he would be on a free

Wolves Linked With Town Skipper
at 11:09:10

Interesting as I went to a baby/toddler play event last week and the people next to me were clearly wifes/girlfriends of ITFC players and one of them said that MM was looking to bring another RB in as 'Luke' will be leaving. Didn't bother posting then as so much talk around but would support this plus MM looking at the RB from Dundalk

McCarthy: Outcast Stewart Could Work His Way Back Into My Plans
at 09:26:20

Langdon_Blue - Taylor is now a free agent, couple of short term deals since he left but never played many games for either Rotherham or Blackburn. Taylor was a bad penny at the club, causing issues behind the scenes and getting rid of him has proved good business on both the spirit and footballing side of things.
Anyhow loving the optimism so far from so many 'fans'. Appears to me that Stewart has realised that the grass is not greener at other clubs and 'higher placed' clubs than Ipswich are not coming after him. Ipswich offers the opportunity to possibly get back into either the Premier League or put himself in the shop window for a bigger club and therefore has come back fit and wanting to prove a point. Also for him it would be good on his CV to say 'i proved Mick wrong'.
Yes like many people I keep checking each day on TWTD for that signing to happen, the one which gives you the feeling that this is the year and yes, like many I am disappointed so far. But one thing I wanted last season and I think most of us did was the youngsters to be given a chance. As things stand, this will happen as our squad numbers require this, even if as a substitute to start of with however compared to last year when we had 'journeymen' sitting on the bench, this will be a step forward and progress.

Murphy Only Town Player in Top 10

All attacking players, no defenders of any kind. Just supports the theory that it's always the attacks that take the plaudits and never the defenders/goalkeeper

No Deal Before Deadline
at 21:33:57

Glad to see that we have happy people like jas0999 on here again tonight. Mick clearly knew Tunnicliffe was departing earlier than we knew so the replacement was for Tunners, not in addition. Personally would rather wait and see what fringe players from the Premier League are available come the emergency loan window (which jas0999 seems to have forgotten about). Tunners was a good workhorse but lets remember this is a player who admitted he cannot kick with his left foot and doesn't naturally cross the ball. Add this with the fact he cannot shoot and hasn't yet scored a goal yet, yes we will miss his constant running and tireless work rate but not too down about him moving on. As for Barnsley, very short sighted signings to keep them in the league, honestly is there a single player Barnsley have bought or taken in this window we would have wanted......no!

Bonus, if Delaney is being offered as available as reported then this means Jewell will be forced to put the likes of Joe Whight on the bench as Delaney is away and can only be good for the future re blooding/giving experience
