Bart intends to return at the end of the season if ITFC go up, this was always a stop gap year for both Bart and also the club in reducing the wage bill for a season [Post edited 19 Oct 2019 21:29]

Just drove past training ground on the way home and 2 observations:
1) Gate is shut with a steward opening and then closing as a car arrives/exits. I drive past here reasonably often and not seen that before unless there is an U23s game on.
2)The car ahead of me was a gold Mercedes with the number plate DIW 867. Turned into the training ground. Any ideas ??? Only name that sprung to mind with all the threads on here today is Dean Windass (with Josh Windass being his son) but cannot find anywhere if he has a middle name or if he's his sons agent (or similar) |

Have experience of this and stepping up a year gets more difficult every year that passes and especially when it's U10s to U11s. Physically the U10s who are playing up a year struggle against the true U11s as it's the age that boys start changing physically as well. Would suggest the U9s stay as U10s next season and I know that the 4 boys who were true U10s will have no problem finding clubs as players with experience are normally sought after, especially at U11 level. |

Basically the same team selection as normal and what's the betting that both Hyam and Gleeson will be used today ? |

Totally agree with BullardsMagicMullet and other comments about him and his commitment to his family.
Unless ITFC drop their demands he's staying. Not going to divulge the figure/package we're asking but it is higher than the £4m being commonly mentioned |

Marvin Sordell only 26yrs old, seems like he's been around for ages. Ward, Watkins seem the obvious targets, Sordell seems to have found his goal touch recently and maybe a backup. If you're looking for a little more experience in midfield then Ross Wallace or Jamie Mackie wouldn't be a waste of salary. Don't think we'll bring any defenders in if Berra and Chambers now stay as we have 2 for each position plus the likes of Webber and Downes coming through as well. |

Not sure if he was playing but definitely the 2 guys he was with were scouts. Was sitting behind them hence I worked out it was Digby they were watching. He could have just been sitting next to them because he knew them. |

Bart doesn't want to leave unless the club choose to sell him. Young family very settled in the area and Mrs B very happy as well with good network of friends around |

Wasn't his debut tonight as he played against Sheff Weds on Friday night and kept being caught offside. Looked a little out of his depth then but fair play to him, he's bounced back and scored twice. Just think that MM thought that with Moore having no track record, getting Bogle as well would be too much of a risk at the price being asked whereas we could get Samuel on loan and if that didn't work then apart from wages, nothing lost. |

Has joined Peterborough from West Ham after playing just 4 games for Blackburn whilst on loan. Appears a good call not to have taken him on loan at the start of the season |
