None of you could have been at the game because if you were you would have known that the scoreline was down to the officials - i watch a lot of non-league games and the refs are awful but this lot were even worse. For the 2nd pen the ref was next to the incident and said no pen but changed his mind due to the lino who was 20 yards away! 4 of the goals were dubious |

Whilst not taking anything away from the player Beattie was the fact that the authority prosecuted meant there is more to this than published or wanted to be believed by many of the posters here. Prosecution is not taken very often as more often than not a caution or admin penalty is given. For a prosecution to be sought there must have been a deliberate act to deceive. If this was Martin Peters would the view from Town fans be the same? I think not! |

It is good to see Jas099 is on form again - no idea what age is ideal for a keeper. Michel Vorm has the best stats this year and is 28 so a 30 year old of this calibre has much to offer. Having said that I dont think this story will develop into anything of interest. |

The money we have to pay for average palyers is too much. Admittedly running out contracts is not ideal, however SC and ME will not and should not be held to ransom. I would rather allow the odd player to go on a bosman than get even more into debt. Our current wage bill is over 90% of t/o - completely unviable. The wage bill must be reduced at any cost otherwise ITFC will end up the same way as Pompey and Port Vale |

It is about time that this has happened to football. For too long idiots who couldn't organise a p*ss up in a brewery run the most followed sport in the world. Hopefully in time it will stop fool hardy comments from the likes of itfc1981 who seemt o think that running a muti-million pound business is easy.
When fully implemented the rules will mean that the club should remain a going concern and not be, as we currently are dependent on ME for survival. The sooner people realise how much we need ME the better as this dependency is bad for the club.
The clock cannot be turned back, however pre-sky sports the game was in a much better position - gamesplayed Saturday pm, affordable and a dozen clubs in with a chance of winning the league |
