| Forum Thread | Spare a thought for Notts County at 23:52 27 Apr 2019
Next week could see the oldest club in the world exit the football league. Notts County are likely to drop out of the league next week ending over 130 years in the league. Whatever troubles we are going through we need to remember that all clubs go through troubles many worse than that what we have endured. I am a glass half full guy and remember Man City's plight in League 1 and their luck in the play off final. I will be hopeful for Mike Halsey's stop watch next year! |

Totally agree - non league football is far more interesting than the premiership. I have been going to Sutton United for the last 7 years and it is so much more personable than the premiership. You get the opportunity to go to the end of season party with the players, talk to the manager and most importantly always think you have a chance of getting at least a draw. Having said that even the National League is now seeing a two tier structure being the money now being plowed into clubs like Salford and even Billericay and with the number of ex league teams in the division will mean that the National League will soon be the same as the Premiership |
| Forum Thread | Is anyone worthy to be in government at 18:52 10 Dec 2018
We need a phoenix to rise from the flames. With the Tories in disarray and the opposition only interested in bringing the Government down we need a group of politicians who genuinely scrunitise the options and suggest meaningful and realistic amendments. Unfortunately all we get is waffle and empty prophecies that they can do a better job without any actual policies that will be accepted. Unfortunately the last time a group of politicians decided to compromise they decimated their core vote. As for Tony Blair's view of a new party - it isnt working that well in France! |
| Forum Thread | I no longer like HD at 23:51 27 Nov 2018
Just watching Graham Norton on HD and I no longer fancy Nicole Kidman. All that botox and facelifts make her look hideous - not the same vision I had watching certain scenes in Eyes Wide Shut! |
| Forum Thread | Drinan Scores! at 17:01 20 Oct 2018
Drinan has just scored his first goal for Sutton in the dying seconds of the game which was the winner. Sutton progress to the 1st Round of the FA Cup and now he has broke the duck will get more especially as he will more game time now Sutton have let Lafayette join Billericay. |
| Forum Thread | Drinan to start at 14:50 29 Sep 2018
Drinan makes the staring 11 against Orient today. This is going to be challenging for him and a good test. He is beginning to get some confidence but needs to get on the scoresheet to give him a real boost. |

Thanks - I am not expecting to do as well as last season as there are many strong teams in the league and most are now full time. As I dont get the opportunity to over to Portman Road its nice to see one of our young prospects - in the last few years Paul Doswell (Sutton's Manager) has got the best of loan players, when they have been there for the season, and they have returned to play in the first team (or sold to teams when they then play in the first team) |

Aaron played his 3rd game for Sutton today coming on again towards the end of the 2nd half. He is beginning to settle in well having been a bit shaky in the first 2 games. He gelled well with Josh Taylor and hopefully will get more time on the pitch to show his promise - he showed maturity at the end keeping the ball in the corner rather than than going for glory with Sutton being 2-1 up against the big spending Salford. Looking forward to the rest of the season |

What is he like as a player? I am a season ticket holder at Sutton and they need a good striker to support Tommy Wright up front. The league can be unforgiving so will be interesting to see how he does |

The ref has been awful all season especially the Sutton game when he sent Jamie Collins off for no reason and disallowed a perfectly valid goal for Bromley. Having said that it is hard not to agree with this decision. Tranmere should do well this year and I am glad Boreham Wood didn't go up - they are one of the teams in the NL who attract a dodgy following and their players tend to play act. Would be happy to see BW go down alongside Eastleigh and Bromley |
