How sweet would victory taste now? There should be literally zero pressure on them with no fit senior CB. |

That's correct, 4 year deal signed in July, definitely a loan. |

Was given to me by a source as you say, one I've never had info off of before so yet to see if it's reliable but time will tell. The twitter thing is merely something that possibly backs it up more. Comes from an MK Dons related blog so hardly a troll worthy account as such. |

I did some googling and twittering of my own when it was mentioned to me and did find this. Seemed a fairly reliable thing to back it up rather than your usual 'FL92' accounts on there to be fair. |

I think MM wants two options on each wing, and this is with viewing that Adeyemi is entirely a CM rather than an option out wide so to speak. This would leave us with Celina, Rowe, Ward and Barnes as the options on the wings. |

On loan I believe, which is understandable as he is only 19 and therefore Leicester won't be looking to sell. |

I mean I will wait and see if this is correct before calling it reliable. |

I've now updated to save confusion, as I don't believe this is the one that McCarthy is mentioning either. |
| Forum Reply | Harvey Barnes at 21:32 5 Aug 2017
I worded my post slightly wrong, he's a player we are getting apparently. I'm not suggesting he is the one McCarthy has mentioned. It's entirely possible we get Barnes and a striker in the coming days. |

So apparently we are getting a young winger on loan from Leicester. Played 21 times for MK Dons on loan last season and got 6 goals. Won their young player of the year award even though he was only there for half a season. Maybe Leicester trust us with him after Lawrence? [Post edited 5 Aug 2017 21:36]

I need to correct my title to avoiding here as well it seems, the amount of people who are just so quick to jump on anything to try and moan |

The amount of plebs complaining we got beat to Bunn by Bury, when McCarthy said it wasn't him. |
| Forum Thread | The New Season Expectations and Predictions at 12:52 2 Aug 2017
So the new season is about to kick off, and apparently Ipswich are in for a tough ride this season. The predictions for the new season and the anticipation that comes with it has started in full force in the final week of pre season preparations. It is hardly surprising that these predictions come with a gloomy forecast for us. Many view us as serious relegation candidates, and after the 6-1 drubbing at the hands of Charlton not many can argue with it. However, this fills me (call me crazy) with excitement and hope for the season ahead. Many supporters of both our club and others forget that this kind of underdog status is what McCarthy and the players fed off of during that 14/15 play off finishing season. Yes, we still miss the firepower that Murphy provided us with during that campaign. However, this is the only gap I see that needs plugging for us to have a real chance of causing some major upsets in the coming months. Early fixtures against 'Arry's Birmingham, Barnsley and Millwall provide us with the chance to get a quick start from the off. If this is to happen I see that a new striker signing (IT WILL HAPPEN, I BELIEVE) will give us the momentum any side craves during the August and September months. As fans we need to get behind the team for the first push of the season and maybe, just maybe with positive results and a signing or two, we can make a real go of it once again. Let's just remember the Hunt goal against Charlton, the Chaplow goal against Watford. It's moments like that which make this underdog season one to relish rather than fear. Speaking as a student who has just finished their degree, and is entering a PGCE, I agree with what has been outlined above largely. Firstly, students had a pretty clear vote for the election as the Tories are the last party any student would want in place. I also agree with the fact that they weren't ever promising to abolish all outstanding student debt, it isn't possible due to the ridiculous size of money it is. I mean my own debt is due to stand at £60,000 or so. Overall, the Labour Party and particularly Corbyn were a simple and clear vote and it is media and other influences trying to have a cheap dig at a party who has very little going against them. |

Added to the squad in Ireland. Replacing Pitman and Bru who are coming back to sign for another club? |

I feel like you don't get my hint at watching it online. |
