Also, given that we were supposedly showing some interest in January and decided not to pursue it would have been quite a shock (and a u-turn from Mick) if we were to go and sign him now, as he wouldn't have convinced Mick (and others) that he was anymore capable now than when we were watching him 6 - 12 months ago. |  | | |

I think the majority would agree with that, but Mick must still have enough doubts and think that the money needed to sign could be spent on someone else.
