It would appear that M14 doesn't like pansies.

He must work for Thomson & Morgan. Millions of the beggars.

We have no village green, or a shop. It's very, very quiet. I can walk to the pub.

Oh Crumbs you have said it now...

I probably got it wrong, the downvote was maybe down to wanting more pansies and wallflowers and feeling Pinewood's pain at struggling for numbers.

I love cutting hedges!

Grass cutting is boring though.

Are you sure about that in this heat? I've had enough of hedges for this week......one more day though!

Same here. Just finished for the week, back to yet more hedge cutting Monday.
Is your weather information still predicting dry weather until September Bankster?

No suggestion of anything remotely wet until end of July/early August and little confidence in that!

The long range thing combined 3 different models for July August and September and showed it as on average dry and warm/hot throughout.........they haven't said anything different since and certainly are off to a good start!

Our village green always looks nice and it doesn’t get watered it’s all about the length of the cut.

So having been reported its been the driest June since records began,we roll into July and still no sign of rain for those of us in East Anglia.

I am really starting to struggle with a few customers, they keep buying plants and forget to water them, ive had to get a bit arsey with a couple saying things like,'i dont mind planting out,but if you dont water them and they die you cant blame me'.

Pots and tubs in this weather really need to be watered twice a day!

Use xerophytic plants.
That will then guarantee monsoon like conditions for the rest of summer.

Love those steel blue flowers.
The pot full of sempervivum outside my front door looks good presently. There are a variety of hardy plant genus suitable for dry/drought conditions as you will know. Shame they are not more widely known.
