Of course many of the current team’s players are still engraved with the McCarthy era football, and there’s only so much PH can do to change that. Therefore he must start bringing in some players to freshen things up and mark the start of his period in charge.
PH will have his own ways of playing football, mostly likely different to how McCarthy played his football, therefore it is necessary for him to bring in some players that he reckons will fit into his plans. Of course we’ve seen Edwards and Harrison join us, but IMO we need a swift change to our old McCarthy era team in order to move on and progress into the PH era.
Otherwise I can’t see a McCarthy team working under PH, I feel like that could go very wrong. |  |
