True, but they've never looked like ever regaining the success they had. Think they finished third when they had Bryan Roy, but that's it?
I was sort of debating if you could include Liverpool once Dalglish left in 91. But of course, they've won everything since then except the title, and not really had an all-conquering season (although 2001 was close), but if you'd said to a Liverpool fan in May 1990 that that was the last title they'd win for at least 29 years, they'd think you were bonkers. | | | |
