Not sure if this is posted elsewhere, but Nash is said to be in the running for the St Patricks Athletic manager’s job in the League of Ireland. By all accounts he has spoken to them already.

Good move for him if it happens & another feather in the cap for ITFC academy.

It would be a shame, he’s got his Pro Licence and ITFC have made a big investment in him.

Wouldn’t begrudge him the move, but would prefer he stayed

Is this a step up, though?

Trying to think of some League of Ireland managers who have stepped up into the higher English leagues... 🤔

Not all managers of League of Ireland clubs have ambitions to move to England.

Going from managing a championship club's U23 side to managing a decent League of Ireland side like St Pats is most definetly a step up. If you don't think so, I don't think you know too much about the LOI.

I guess it’s an amazing move if your absolute target is LOI, a league I am well aware of considering half my family live over there.

If Nash is as promising as it seems, working through the ranks of the English leagues (not necessarily at Ipswich) would prove more fruitful in many ways.

I blame PH.

I thought I’d get that in before all the melts did.

That would be interesting to see how our league position holds up

Alcohol is the answer but I can't remember the question!

How do you think the current Ipswich side would do against the top 2 sides in the League of Ireland?

Ipswich would smash them. Smash them to Hell.

Bohs are going to finish around 40 points behind the league leaders. At least 30 points behind the runners up.

Ipswich didn’t “scrape” past Lincoln City in the FA Cup a couple of seasons back. Lincoln were non-league at the time. Those results mean nothing.

The premier league isn’t the be all end all. League of Ireland managers don’t have to reach that level to prove they are good managers. There have been a few guys in that league who wouldn’t last six months in the LOI.

I never commented on the strenght on the premier league. Stop making stuff up. By the way, I’ll let all the LOI managers know the standard you’ve set for them. You’re a gas man.

So League of Ireland side Bohemians drew with English National League side, Sutton United, in the SCOTTISH Challenge Cup?

What on earth is that all about?
