Calls for 442 are fine, infact with the fowards we have maybe even necessary imho. However, I sense some are now saying get it forward early just to get it away from our end cos we are so poor defensively. That defines Hoofball to me. Please no, play through the midfield and get some support to the front men. Let Lambert build an identity and forget any calls for lumping it. |  |

It's not "hoofball", just a practical approach to our situation. We need to change something: Lambert has lost 8/10 games. We're bullied too easily and don't have the luxury/ability/confidence to play nice possession football.
The approach would have been right at the start of the season, but not now. |  | | |
