We're the worse side in the league though, changing manager hasn't changed that. You cant sign the likes of Keane, Quander, Elder, Dawkins, Judge and Collins and expect to change that. We clearly weren't prepared to spend ourselves out of a hole and did the bare minimum to save face PR wise, we're going down and we might not see the second tier for a long time again unless Evans changes his tact from making us "competitive" to being in the real world of having to do more than the minimum and invest a significant more amount of dough and if he's not interested in doing that, he should cut his losses and try and sell up. |  |

Surely if we can afford two players at 20k it would have made more sense to get in 2-3 players of that kind of calibre rather than 6 of dross. Is Elder better than Kenlock? Not noticeably. |  |

I would be shocked if we're paying even half of that wage wise for them, so far we have got just 1 goal in what 4 games from the new front two, not massively different from Hursts forwards that. | |

The question I would ask is have the club spent more trying to dig their way out of the hole then they have by cutting expenditure and falling into the hole in the first place?
