Assuming that any purchases will now be few, well-researched, value for money and have to secure approval from a player who sees Town as an opportunity, then the extended period seems, as likely as not, to provide little more than a period in which we might desperately seek after such players as have ticked none of the above boxes except being cheap. |  |
