I'm going into hospital soon would like to copy some video's to watch on my tablet. I have a Acer Iona tablet & a Seagate external drive they don't seem to want to communicate with each other.

I'm certainly no expert but have you tried just using the sd card instead, or won't that hold enough?

Edit: it could well be that the drive you have needs a fair bit of power which it might not get from the tablet. Have you tried a usb stick instead?
