I don't think the concept of hiring a fresh faced manager from the lower leagues is necessarily a bad thing though, so I wouldn't think of it as replicating Paul Hurst approach to management. I think Paul Hurst was give far too much freedom and might have done okay, not well but okay, if we had a decent DoF being involved in the transfer stuff.
