I really do think the bigger picture is more important here.
If we had picked up a few more injuries I’m sure you would have been bemoaning that fact. Don’t forgot we also have another cup competition to go in, first round of the FA cup also there will be a lot of games we have at least 50 games already. |  | | |

These cup games are no more then glorfied friendlies nowadays and have been for years, by all means go along and cheer the club on but don't expect it to be anymore then a workout for yoofs and injured. |  | | |

Whilst I appreciate my comment will be a touch negative....the notion of going out of a cup to focus on the league is something we have not done in the recent past.
Lambert states himself....winning is a habit. The bigger picture is the need to get over last season. Last night and Saturday dont help that. |  |

sorry but any fan that goes to a league cup away game knows (and it was very obvious this time what PL was going to do) it will be packed with the second string squad members so only have themselves to blame . | | | |
