Great east run 13:34 - Sep 22 with 887 viewsPinewoodblue

Step son, a northstander for 20+ years, family enclosure before that, finished 58th in 1 hr 27mins. Looks like he will have raised £800 for Spinal Injuries Association who have been very supportive of his mum.

She tripped over a coffee table broke her neck and damaged her spinal cord. You never know what lies ahead in life.

Fantastic effort - good on him. I bet his mum is very proud.

I did it last year and was on for 1h45 before I collapsed 500 metres from the finish. I pushed myself way too hard on a very hot day and entering Portman Road in the back of an ambulance wasn’t my finest moment. It’s a tough course and I want to do it next year though.
