Milk Slop 03:37 - Jan 12 with 6210 viewsLord_Lucan

I've just shared a couple of PMs with Jeera about weird foods and it got me thinking.

My odd bod father in law used to eat something he called milk slop, it was basically a couple of rounds of bread in a bowl covered with hot milk - it may have contained onions from memory but I could possibly have dreamt that bit.

Has anyone else heard of this ridiculous dining experience?

Milk sop as a poorly kid. Bread, hot milk and sugar. Lucozade if I was at deaths door.

I recall it being Milk Sop too.

Bread pudding has always been a funny one for me really.

Looks grosse, you could disarm a robber with a lump of it if you caught him right.

Yet, tastes great when made right.

My mum always made a decent one and it was a common addition to my school lunchbox.

Bread pudding is ok if it has a chewy top. I used to like bread and butter pudding but i don't think i could eat it now as I don't like sweet sh1t.
