It's nothing new, is it? By may calculations Town have now won 4 of their last 20 league games in what is a pretty poor league. These pathetic defeats are now an expectation, not a surprise. Lambert can serve out all the nonsense about missing first choice strikers, dominated the game etc etc, but the bottom line is that his team has forgotten how to win football matches. At any other club, a run this bad and for this long would mean the sack, but Lambert has been given a 5 year contract. You wouldn't make it up. |  |
