Can someons explain the 2m distance thing 17:34 - Mar 24 with 646 views

As in I thought viruses were spread by actual contact (you touch something then say rub your eye) or say a sneeze. Is it as simple as breathing in the air someone else has exhaled?

It's to do with exhaled droplets from sneezing or coughing I presume the virus can't be expelled as far as two metres and survive.
