And again, wtf is the point? A 3-4 weeks mini pre season takes them into mid- to late-June, barely 6 weeks before they may have a chance to start next season on time (albeit behind closed doors).

Give up on this season, use the points per game so far to determine final league positions and be done with it. If Sky throw a hissy fit, the players have to take a wage cut like anyone else is facing, but only for a few weeks. Anything else is increasingly coming across as utter stupidity.
