I’ve seen lots of suggestions for ending the season include various points per game or weighted points per game, but how about as a few teams have only played 34 games, the games/standings for all teams are wound back to the 34th game?

I think the only fair way is to just allow the first 15 games to count.

My proposal is achievement-based.
1. Fifty points for having a previous manager lead England to winning the World Cup.
2. Forty Points for having a different previous manager lead England to a World Cup Semi-Final
3. Thirty Points for any club who has won England's top division in their first ever season in the top division.
4. Twenty Points for each manager commemorated by a statue (that gives us sixty points)*.
5. Fifteen points for each Champions League medallist who has played for the club in the last twenty years.
6. Two hundred points for each former player who went on to gain a Nobel Prize.
7. Add to that the number of points gained against Bolton.
