Radiohead 20:39 - Jun 26 with 2002 views | vapour_trail | Anyone listening else to the Glastonbury sets 6 music are currently running through. It’s great stuff. I was desperate to see them in 97 but got banjoed early doors and stayed in some place pumping out techno all night. That’s supposed to be the legendary set. Saw them in 03 which was great. They’ve moved onto the 17 set on the wireless now which sounds the best of the lot, full back catalogue in play.

Radiohead on 01:21 - Jun 27 by vapour_trail | My favourite radiohead related gig was atoms for peace at the roundhouse, which was extraordinary. Not impressed with the EOB, project Jake. Sounds like below average u2. |
I think the solo projects are quite indicative of where they all want to go individually - as you say, EOB is fairly bland stadium rock, Thom’s solo stuff is largely indecipherable electronic stuff and Jonny is making classical music and film soundtracks. The beauty of Radiohead is that they manage to fuse these sounds together when they are in a studio at the same time and make beautiful music. Long may they continue.

I get on quite well with the indecipherable electronic stuff. Have the LCD set on now.

Yeah don’t get me wrong, that’s very much my bag. Enjoy! I’m sat here at home a fair few cans deep and I would trade it all for an hour and a half in the rain that night.

"Not impressed with the EOB, project Jake. Sounds like below average u2." Ha. Exactly my thoughts! One tune I've heard recently sounds like a session track for Zooropa or Achtung Baby that never made the cut.

I saw them at V same time as I saw Radiohead. Went to front at 11.30am and didn't move all day. They were good that day.

I was there that year for pulp, but think I was at orbital when they played. We’ve just put on hot chip, who are twice the band live that they are on record. Stumbled across QOTSA doing no one knows on a various show earlier which looked like great fun.
