I'm not sure why having no loanees is seen as a positive. It's part of the game and even players who are signed 'permanently' can move around every year or two anyway. I've never quite understood why it's such an issue for fans. |
Maybe for me, more the fact that Lambert has achieved one of his steers aims.
I guess if we had six or seven loans playing regularly this season and went up, we start again. They’d hinder our stated aim of utilising our academy players too. | |
