We're too slow and ponderous

The Hawk slows us down so much. Shame we haven’t got many other options. Norwoods injury was a huge blow.

It’s the tippy tally build up from out from our defence that makes it so laborious to watch imo.

Poll: Would this current Town team beat the current narwich team

Very idle indeed, it’s ok to build that tempo from the back, but as soon as that rolled into the opposing half, you have to be able to move through to gears, otherwise it’s far to easy to play against, easy for teams to sit in in their banks of 4 or 5.

Poll: Would you be happy with Paul Lambert?

We need a striker that is going to score goals , neither Hawkins or Sears are good enough , neither look like they are going to score enough to justify picking them

Yep, we need to be getting faster as we move forward. Look at Lincoln, they didn't bother with the passing at the back particularly, but every time they moved forwards they looked like creating something.

Also, they could move with the ball, whereas the majority of our players are stationary when they have the ball at their feet

We need to mix it up, sometimes from defence to midfield, diagonal balls etc, and sometimes over the midfield for the wingers to chase on too. I agree we need to be able to raise the tempo, like Hawkins as the hold up player, but his distribution when facing the goal is poor.

The midfield balance wasn't quite right, but we moved the ball more progressively than at the weekend - we could just really do with getting some bodies back to allow he manager a bit more leeway with regards to selection
