Idealistically, a lovely idea, but Evans really isn’t the problem at this moment in time.
We had and still do have a squad perfectly capable of floating around the nether regions of the Championship.
You can’t tell me Rotherham & Wycombe have stronger squads. They’re just organised a whole lot better than our lot are.
We’re not going to find an owner in the current climate who’ll perform the financial miracle we need.
In the short term, we need a tactically competent management & coaching team.
Then, when we’re back to holding our own in the Championship we can all howl Evans out and hope someone with a healthy wedge sees us as a viable financial investment rather than a prime piece of Suffolk real estate.
In other words, where we were when MM was in charge and being greeted with spade-loads of offensive f*ckwittery by a large swathe of muppets who are whining the loudest now. |  |
