If Evans truly feels the way Lee described earlier, then I truly feel pity for Marcus' having the inability to see the bigger picture at hand. Marcus keeping Lambert employed is nothing more than keeping the regime on life support purely out of hope that it will suddenly wake up. I really don't think many would blame Lambert if he threw his hands up and resigned - but someone has to blink - and it can't be us as fans again when he offers a motivational speech or article. Lambert is beyond the point of no return, and even if he can get us promoted by the end of this season, its going to be more down to luck than judgement. Lambert Out Evans either needs to go all in on taking this exercise seriously and the bulk of his attention, or he has to just cut his losses and sell up. Be careful what I wish for? Yes, I may regret wishing Evans to leave (should he leave), and the grass is not guaranteed to be greener with a new chairman, and it could be catastrophic - but Evans has had almost 15 years and good business acumen and resources to solidify this club, but instead he has just let people around him fuq it all up, and make no mistake, ITFC is fu**ed. | |
