In my simple mind, he would be the perfect fit for Town's next manager. Young, ambitious, intelligent, needed to reconsolidate. Has plenty of ties with the area, with quite a large property portfolio in and around Dedham.

It all feels right to me. Maybe line it up now, for next season.

Dyer is 6 years older than Robson was when he took over a top flight club - ITFC. Apprenticeship? This is a club that’s heading rapidly to rock bottom in League position to fit with everything else about it. This club will be in league two within a few of years as things stand so for me it’s the perfect place to do his apprenticeship.

We are competing with the likes of Cheltenham and Colchester not Lincoln, Crewe, Luton or Barnsley let alone the Championship big boys like Preston and Blackburn. Peterborough came here Saturday and knew they’d win. It wasn’t in doubt. The same will probably happen tomorrow and a good hiding is in the offing on Saturday. How on earth could he do any worse? Better him than some old has been hoping for another go - like Lambert. I’d give him a try with a coach of his choice.

Shame Lambert will be here for a long while yet.

So with Town as you say heading toward oblivion imminently, you’d like practically a novice manager at the helm ?

Well I PMSL ........

Better to take a chance on somebody who needs to start his career, wants the job and knows the club and the area.

I hate to break it to you but we are not going to get Klopp, Guardiola or Mourinho. Even Mowbray operates at a level at least a division higher than Ipswich. If it’s experience you want, you are looking at somebody who’s failed at a little club like Ipswich. Guaranteed failure. Why not give somebody who hasn’t failed a chance?

“Shame Lambert will be here for a long while yet”. Sadly I believe you are right. I do not see the problem with KD having no experience, if the ultimate aim was not for him to graduate to first team what the hell was the point in him returning? He may as well have gone somewhere else, as I have said before he probably just needs a Butcher or Burley as the old head alongside.
My guess why Chambo does not look happy is because it won’t be him in charge, but his time will come also.

I think we really need to get used to 4 more years unfortunately.

Totally agree, can't hurt to give him until the end of the season.
