Interview error! 13:10 - Jan 26 with 669 viewsBluefish

If you had a 1st interview coming up with the Regional Director of a company and in your acceptance email to the invitation you spelled their name wrong. Would you mention it straight away in the interview or hope for the best and not say anything?

In fairness it is an unusual name and an easy mistake to make but still a big fook up

I'd personally own up, the chances are if it's an obscure spelling you won't be the first and it might be a nice ice breaker.

What are your weaknesses? Clearly fooking attention to detail

Just convince them that learning to spell is a long-term project and it is perfectly normal to show no signs of improving in it for at least 3 years. That should easily bag you a 5 year contract.
