Seems about right, maybe fractionally generous.

We have finally got the monkey off our backs over top 6 sides. We have a new man coming in. We have a squad capable of making the play-offs and are only a couple of points off them. Any club that is in the play-offs stands a roughly 1 in 4 chance of winning them.

On that basis those odds are saying around a 1 in 3 chance of being in them. That is possibly a little harsh.

However unlikely it is, if this upturn in form was to continue and we extend the winning run to 10 games as we have shown we are capable of before in this league, it would leave us at least 4 points from automatic having beaten Portsmouth and Lincoln on the run......anyway you can see why I don't win many bets!
