First half was better, Bonne takes that chance and it would have been a different story.
Burgess looked solid, I think he will be a good player for us.
Concerns for me are that we don't create any chances, we dont get the ball in the box and we cant defend when balls are hoisted into our own box.
No idea why Piggot come off when it was clear as day their tactic was to launch the ball into our box at every opportunity.
Also it's a dirty tactic but i would have had one of the subs drop a bottle of water on that towel on the left touchline, i no they could have replaced it but then do it again - just try an disrupt their plan a bit
Anyway there were positives, the results of course haven't been but i think it will come Saying that Saturday is an important game now
The original poster noting that apparently 4 clubs are linked with 2 of them being in League 1. It has come as a surprise to the original poster even though he has scored some great goals there are suggestions he is not quite ready yet. They did not that a new offer should be offered now so there does seem to a sense of optimism about him however it also seems the concern is also about being about to secure a fee rather than risking him leaving on a free in future.
Further down another poster mentions how Ryan Wintle is ready for a move to a higher level – this on a side note would be a fantastic signing if we were to sign him.
Amusingly the rest of the thread references an Ipswich Fan who was surprised at the interest in a Crewe player.
Not sure if it has been mentioned it other threads - there is a lot to go through.
Maybe the potential owners didn't pass the EFL test and were deemed not suitable. We really are just speculating.
Disappointed like most (some seem to be taking pleasure) but I think had Lambert still been here the news would have been much more disappointing for me. I think Cook has enough about him to get us out of this division in the next 18 months and alot can happen off the field in that time as well.
