| Forum Reply | If we end up in the POs v Norwich - home game likely to be moved... at 09:42 16 Apr 2024
For clarification - https://www.efl.com/governance/regulations/#heading-administration-and-arrangeme Section 28 - Kick Off Times - The Home Club shall fix the time. There is a guidance part which notes - Should circumstances change which necessitate a request for a change of kick-off time (i.e. police intelligence) and it is not mutually agreed, The League will request and consider the views of both Clubs before determining whether to approve such request. I had a brief look over it and can't see anywhere that police are able to decide anything regarding fixtures - also doesn't stipulate anything about policing at matches so could be within another document somewhere |

I don't think so and gladly so - could you imagine? There would be games off all the time, when star players get injured, team has a big game and all of a sudden 12 players go down with a mystery illness - There is enough window with FFP and other things for clubs to manipulate so fortunately this isn't (i hope) [Post edited 15 Apr 4:56]

Lets not forget where we are and where Hull are over the course of the season - if anyone should be fearing anyone it should be Hull fearing playing Ipswich in the 3rd match in 8 days by which time they are likely out of the promotion race anyway - Hull are away at Watford and Coventry. And when you look at scums remaining fixtures - Bristol City (h), Swansea (h), Birmingham (a), I'd say Hull are pretty much done [Post edited 15 Apr 3:39]

Or you just do it before kick off whilst players are out on pitch warming up - once main warm up is done about 5 mins before they are due to go back in - just like it used to be - all fans pretty much there in their seats and applauding. Common sense approach |

you mean the same subs we have made in the other 41 games this season? Clueless |

Someone knows they are on borrowed time. Effectively out of the auto race now and into the lottery of the playoffs. If they don’t go up will he survive the summer? |
| Forum Reply | No Williams Update? at 20:31 4 Mar 2024
Yeah, I think you are right - quality player when fit and on song. But he's not fit, he's not here, and more than likely not going to be here by season's end - 2 months left in the season and he isn't match fit - Best we all just move on. Given my recent predictions, Williams will be back and will score the winner against Huddersfield to take us up. |
| Forum Reply | No Williams Update? at 20:19 4 Mar 2024
As you have mentioned, there was no update in the pre-match press conference, today or against Plymouth. So no there is no update. In addition, he wouldn't get in the team at the moment anyway. Going for 5 on the bounce tomorrow Up the Town |

With Natalie Sawyer waiting at home there could be an argument he was just conserving his energy |
| Forum Reply | Absolutely must bring Moore on at half time at 15:57 3 Feb 2024
To be fair we have created nothing at all. Wing backs haven't got down the line once, Chaplin has found a blue shirt twice, Sarmiento non-existent, burns awful. We could have had anyone up front in the first half and it wouldn't have made any difference |
| Forum Reply | Blackburn pull out at 03:22 1 Feb 2024
it is reported Blackburn have pulled out due to financial reasons, which seems odd considering they are selling Wharton, unless there is a snag in that deal. Anyhow, if Sheff Wed are now reported for Mcguire then we would definitely be able to compete financially so i wonder whether we will have a sniff at this - may of course be someone we have no interest in what so ever. Interesting day ahead |

| Forum Reply | Al-Hamidi upgrade on Ladapo? at 07:45 30 Jan 2024
Hard to compare a 21 year old and a 30 year old. However, when Freddie was Ali's age he was kicking around at Hayes and Yeading and Kidderminster mustering 2 goals in 19 appearances. Al-Hamidi has 23 in 42 at a higher level. So at the age of 21, Al-Hamidi certainly looks on course to exceed Freddie - doesn't always work out like that, but considering we have spent a fair amount on him, I would hope he is an upgrade for sure |
