The performance from some of the players is highly questionable, particularly with a new manager here
It looks like some must already be talking to other clubs and are simply trying to not get injured, it would explain an awful lot about some of the performances |
I wouldn’t be the least surprised if our so called players were looking for other clubs. For our bloated squad the problem is always somebody else’s at a club where mediocrity is a high bar for most.
Between 1st Nov and 31 Jan we played 15, won 4, drew 2 lost 9. The meat of the season. We managed to overcome the might of Burton twice, Plymouth and Shrewsbury, all by the odd goal. I don’t think slightly better results in Feb changed anything. We were a poor run down football club until last Wednesday.
Thanks Evans, shut the door on your way out. Despite hoping to make a bob or two off his training ground chunk and 5% of the club, I pray his future involvement and presence at the club is zero. The last think it needs is the ghost of Jacob Marley haunting the place.
It’s a new era! Less than a week old! The manager has been here a few weeks lumbered with somebody else’s dross. Let’s see where we are in 6 months time. It’s going to look and feel very different. Let’s face it, following death by a thousand cuts, I’m struggling to see how it can be worse. Patience - things will improve! |  |
