Gave a load to the charity shop last year but kept the black one and have 4 of the reto shirts, white pioneer, blue pioneer, red/black and radio orwell.

True story which still haunts me.

My dad gave me one of the old tops with pioneer on it many years ago

I was a ungrateful git then and put it in the draw. Never looked at it or wore it as I liked to wear the new tops.

Anyway. Few years down the line. Clearing out my draws. Came across it and gave it away to charity.

About 2 years later. Something reminded my dad about the top and he asked me about it. I admitted I'd given it away. The pain on his face then turned to laughter.. I was puzzled.

Anyway.. I asked him what was so funny. And he said you never looked at it did you. I said no.

Not only was it an old pioneer shirt.
It was signed by Sir Bobby with a personal message.

Someone out there has it.....

I only have one which is a 1978 original. Never worn it as it was a 40th birthday present.
