Indeed, the whole problem is gun culture in the USA, which means that many supposedly trivial disputes or confrontations with the police lead to guns being pulled or used by felons or by trigger-happy cops. All the PC training in the world isn't going to cure that ill. |
You use the tool you have to hand. If you don't have access to a gun, you use a knife. If you don't have a knife you use a spoon. The answer seems to be in limiting the supply of said tools.
