I just want them to be in the same league as us so I have at least one easy match.

Hate to say it, but Norwich and Watford are the only 2 who would stand a chance of staying up. This version of the Swansea team is a shadow of the one that won promotion last time and spent about 7 years in the PL. Barnsley are flying right now, but I suspect that's largely momentum that could be easily burst. They'd need a lot of extra quality to stand a fighting chance.

It's just annoying that this discussion is so irrelevant for us.

Fair enough, I'll switch my vote to Barnsley in memory of that great day at Wembley in 2000 and their great bunch of fans.

Just to tidy things up in relation to this and the other poll I alluded to.
The result of that poll was

Brentford 52.6%
Swansea 23.6%
Barnsley 13.1 %
Bournemouth 10.5%

Which just goes to show how an electorate being asked the same question can be so different in their choices.
I would say that Brentford over the 2 polls seem to be the preferred option and I can see a little romanticism kicking in (nothing wrong with that) coming from our poll re.The Tykes.

I think my order of preference would be:

Brentford
Barnsley
Swansea
Bournemouth

Would be nice to see Barnsley go up although I think Brentford warrant promotion after their performances of the last few years and their progressive nature as a football club. But I'd be happy to see Barnsley go up next season. Swansea spent seven years up there so it'd be a bit boring if they went back this season. I seriously hope it isn't Bournemouth. Hope they never return to the top flight.

Well...they the playoffs are underway...bumping for any changes of preference after the 1st legs and the draw itself as this was setup before final positions were known....and the question was very recently posted.
