Evolution of language (or funny words now being used) 09:19 - May 12 with 434 viewsKeno

I have just asked an insurance a question and they are now 'sourcing' an answer

Since when did we start 'sourcing' answers?

I would read that as "making up an answer"!

'No worries' seems to have no meaning at all.

Bar staff: 'That's 8.50 please'
My friend, handing over a tenner: 'You can keep the change'.
Bar staff: 'No worries'.

I was questioned about using 'sourcing' as a word when I worked for a software company about twenty years ago, ignored the interjection and carried on squeezing out the Heinz...

But I actually was challenged by a secretary about using the word in a document, it made sense to me and I must have read it or heard it in some other info guff. Mildly interesting that it has taken the insurance racket twenty years to catch up.
