Cricket: Day 2 on 12:25 - Jun 5 by Chrisd | Burns has got to manage the tail through and past the follow on target. You’ve got to say the Kiwis have bowled some great stuff this morning with a little bit of help from the conditions. |
Burns had played well, can only remember the very early LBW appeal as real concern, NZ have slowed his scoring down a lot though. Pope looked good when he was in, had he stayed in then it might have been better. Not sure he could do too much about that ball.

Just wish a few of our top order would grab their opportunity to cement their test place. They are all talented batsmen, but their scoring is so inconsistent at this level which sows the seeds of doubt.

He did that very well. From 140/6 that was at least respectable. Intriguing day of Test cricket, yesterday had probably cost NZ the win but England didn’t roll over either. Ohh, Williamson surviving an LBW on an edge he wasn’t sure about. England bowling well despite only getting one wicket.

Cricket: Day 2 on 12:00 - Jun 5 by Steve_M | Not helped by Lawrence playing an even worse shot that Crawley on Thursday. 140/5 still need 38 to get past the follow on target. |
Not really been following tbh, but hearing a few mins of play this morning it sounded as though we might be snatching a thrilling defeat out of the jawsof a dull draw!
