What are those in attendance tomorrow doing in the run up to 3 o’clock.
My lad is picking me up at 1pm and we hope to be parked up and milling around Portman Road by 2pm. Getting into the ground fairly early.
Pre pandemic, we would have had a pre match pint or two and a bite to eat but have decided to put that on hold for the time being and see how things pan out. Going to be strange, but absolutely buzzing to get back for some live football.

Usual for me to begin - have lunch around 12, start getting ready just before 1 while listening to the first hour of Pick Of The Pops, get the 2.15 bus. Walk down to the ground either alone or with the old man I used to meet on there (hopefully). Have a cigarette and chat outside the ground, go in, not go to the bar as bringing my own drinks in. Hope I don't have a massive panic attack, then hopefully settling to watch the game. |  | | |
